The Nordic way…
The journey and passion of true smoked Nordic seafood and meats began during our time spent over many summers (15 years) living in Sweden and Denmark. Travelling the coast on our 6-meter sailboat, visiting many many smokehouses and learning the art from local artisans where the culinary art & tradition has been passed down the generations. After many years as a Chef and later Director in the world of hospitality - in 2015 we began smoking seafood in Cornwall and with our very own Manuka Smoked Salmon, using Icelandic and/or Faroese salmon from the North Atlantic's clear arctic waters, which won Gold at the Taste of the West Awards and recently our Gin & Juniper also picking up gold. Many of the other products have also won silver or bronze
Our products are well received at all levels of hospitality from the Michelin starred, to hotels, to restaurants looking to serve great tasting and visual products and more recently many grocery retailers and independent deli outlets, stocking their shelves and appreciating the repeat custom for our products. They are balanced in flavour, delicate and delicious.
